Is there an official Queensland Academy entrance test sample?
No free one. Sample papers and past papers are not published1Qld Academies · 13 October 2026 · Not published by Queensland Academies or by Edutest, which runs the test. Edutest's paid practice tests are the official practice.
Because neither body publishes past papers, a paper online called a Queensland Academies past paper is someone's own practice, not the real test. Families can't see the real papers either: they get no access to raw scores, answer sheets or written responses3Edutest · 12 October 2026 · Published.
What official practice exists, and who makes it?
One source makes official practice: Edutest. The Academies' own pages describe the test but give no sample questions.

How should my child use practice tests?
Use them to learn the question styles first, then to build pace. Spread them out rather than doing them all at once.
Start untimed with the first set

Review every wrong answer together
Ask what the question wanted and why the right answer works. That talk teaches more than the score.
Move up the sets slowly
The harder sets come later. Leave a week or two between them so the review sinks in.
