This policy covers refunds for SelectiveReady plans. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel Weekly any time online in Settings → Manage plan. You won't be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the week you have paid for. The 12-Month Pack never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
3. Weekly (A$9 per week)
We don't refund part of a week if you change your mind. Cancelling stops all future charges.
4. 12-Month Pack (A$99)
If you change your mind, you can have a full refund within 7 days of buying, as long as your child hasn't completed a full practice test since you bought the Pack. Your access to paid content ends when the refund is made.
After 7 days, or once a full practice test has been completed, we don't give change-of-mind refunds.
5. If something is wrong with the service
If SelectiveReady doesn't work as it should, contact us. For a problem we can fix, we will fix it within a reasonable time; if we can't, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of your plan. For a major problem, you can choose to cancel and get a refund for the unused part, or compensation for the reduced value. This applies to both plans, whenever the problem happens.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email support@selectiveready.com from your account email address. Tell us your plan and what happened. We aim to reply within 1 business day. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show them.
7. Disagreements
Please contact us first so we can try to put it right. If we can't agree, you can contact NSW Fair Trading.
