By creating an account or using SelectiveReady (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a child, you agree to these terms on their behalf.

2. Description of Service

SelectiveReady is an AI-powered online test preparation platform for the NSW Selective High School Placement Test. The Service includes:

• Practice tests across four modules: Reading, Mathematics, Thinking Skills, and Writing
• AI-powered writing feedback based on the Cambridge Assessment rubric
• Progress tracking and performance analytics
• Interactive study materials

3. Accounts

• You must create an account to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• One account per person — shared accounts are not permitted
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Plans and Payment

Free Plan

• Access to one sample exam set
• Full functionality for that set (including AI writing feedback)
• No payment required

Standard Plan — $79 AUD (one-time)

• Access to all available exam sets
• AI-powered writing feedback
• Progress tracking and analytics

Pro Plan — $149 AUD (one-time)

• Everything in Standard
• Detailed performance insights
• Priority access to new content

Payment Terms

• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable
• Payment is a one-time charge, not a subscription
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe
• Access is granted immediately upon successful payment
• Access remains valid through the 2026 NSW Selective Test period

5. Refund Policy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute test content
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use the Service for any purpose other than personal test preparation
• Submit inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content in writing exercises
• Misrepresent your identity or create fraudulent accounts

7. Intellectual Property

• All test content, questions, explanations, and materials are owned by SelectiveReady
• AI-generated writing feedback is provided for personal use only
• You retain ownership of your writing submissions, but grant us a licence to process them for feedback generation
• The SelectiveReady name, logo, and branding are our trademarks

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• Writing feedback is generated by AI (Google Gemini) and is provided as educational guidance only
• AI feedback may occasionally contain errors or imprecise suggestions
• AI feedback does not guarantee any particular score or result on the actual NSW Selective Test
• The Service is a preparation tool and does not replicate the official test

9. No Guarantee of Results

• SelectiveReady is a preparation tool. We do not guarantee admission to any selective high school
• Practice scores are indicative only and may not reflect actual test performance
• The NSW Department of Education administers the Selective Test independently and their decisions are final

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service
• We are not responsible for service interruptions due to factors beyond our control

11. Modifications to Service

• We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time
• We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, access to the Service ceases and data is handled per our Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
