Providers and overseas recipients
SelectiveReady is operated by Varun Prasad Gopisetti (ABN 53 930 169 401) at selectiveready.com. Contact privacy@selectiveready.com.
We use the providers below. Some process information for us; payment, advertising and other providers may also handle information under their own responsibilities. Calling this page “subprocessors” does not mean every recipient has the same contractual role.
Information can be handled outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. A hosting or sending region does not establish the location of every log, backup or support system. Provider policies explain their broader processing; they do not mean every optional provider feature is enabled for SelectiveReady.
| Provider | Purpose and information | Overseas processing information |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk | Sign-in and identity: account email, sign-in/profile information and security metadata. | United States and other locations used by Clerk and its providers. |
| Convex | Application database/backend: account, practice, writing, progress and billing-state records. | Cloud processing can occur outside Australia; the service is not represented as Australian-only. |
| Vercel | Web hosting, technical request data and cookieless usage analytics on public pages. | United States and global infrastructure/provider locations. |
| Stripe | Checkout, recurring charges, receipts, refunds and disputes: adult payment and billing information. We do not store full card numbers or security codes. | Australia, the United States and other Stripe processing locations. Financial/legal retention can continue after account deletion. |
| Google Gemini | Automated writing feedback is currently unavailable; while it is off, no writing is sent. If it is enabled again, submitted writing, task guidance and marking instructions would be processed for feedback. Identifying information typed into a submission would be included. | Processing can occur outside Australia. Provider rules cover abuse monitoring, security and feature-specific retention; we do not promise zero retention. |
| Google Analytics and Ads | Public marketing-page measurement and limited confirmed-purchase attribution as explained in our Privacy Policy. | United States and other Google processing locations. Hashed identifiers remain personal information when linkable. |
| Meta | Public marketing-page measurement and limited confirmed-purchase attribution. No student writing or practice answers are sent for advertising. | United States and other Meta processing locations. |
| Cloudflare | Video storage/delivery. Lesson media is not student work, but requests can contain IP addresses and technical metadata. | Global delivery infrastructure; this is not a promise of Australian-only handling. |
| Resend | Account/billing/privacy email, optional adult marketing email, address/preference and delivery records. | United States and sending infrastructure outside Australia. Email sending location does not determine all metadata and log locations. |
| Porkbun | Forwarding incoming support, privacy and hello email, including sender address and message content. | United States-based forwarding service and its processing providers. |
| Google Gmail | Operator mailbox holding forwarded correspondence and reply history. | Google processing locations, including the United States and other countries. |
We use Infisical to manage service credentials. It is not an intended destination for customer records or student work; credentials must not contain customer data.
We do not send student work to schools or the NSW Department of Education as part of ordinary practice. Service providers and the operator may process work to provide the service or investigate an issue; this is different from making work visible to other students.
Our Privacy Policy explains purposes, marketing choices and retention. Provider retention varies by record, account configuration and legal obligation. We assess relevant changes and update this list before introducing a new provider receiving personal information.
